Chronology of cameras Zenith Camera Corp.

Zenith Camera Corp. manufactured cameras in Chicago during a time when the city was better known for Galter productions, which were marketed under various brand names. While plastic was commonly used for those miniature cameras, Zenith Camera Corp. preferred stamped metal to produce rudimentary box cameras. The technical features of these cameras were extremely basic: fixed focus, no aperture control, and a single shutter speed without a bulb mode.

__________

This Sharp Shooter is technically identical to the Sharpshooter. Only the black color, the strap anchor points location and the blank space in the model name (between Sharp and Shooter) distinguish them.

The difference for the strap location between the Sharp Shooter and the Sharpshooter may indicate that the Sharp Shooter is contemporary with the Vu-Flash 120, whose two connectors flash socket made it necessary to move the front anchor point of the strap. For production simplification purpose, the two models share the same rear section.
